Bacon and Blue Cheese Burger

This delicious bacon and blue cheese burger is packed with flavor and perfect for burger lovers.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Ketchup - 4 tablespoons
  • Mayonnaise - 4 tablespoons
  • Red onion - 1, sliced
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Lettuce - 4 leaves
  • Hamburger buns - 4
  • Blue cheese - 4 ounces, crumbled
  • Bacon - 8 slices, cooked
  • Ground beef - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or stovetop grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  4. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with 2 slices of cooked bacon and crumbled blue cheese.
  6. Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until lightly toasted.
  8. Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the bottom halves of the buns.
  9. Place a lettuce leaf on each bun, followed by a tomato slice and red onion slices.
  10. Place a bacon and blue cheese-topped patty on each bun.
  11. Cover with the top halves of the buns and serve immediately.
