Air Fryer Catfish

Crispy and flavorful catfish fillets cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • Lemon wedges - For serving
  • Cooking spray - As needed
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cornmeal - 1 cup
  • Catfish fillets - 4

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip each catfish fillet into the beaten egg, then coat it with the cornmeal mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the coated catfish fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the catfish is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with lemon wedges for squeezing over the catfish fillets.
