Vitamalz

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, combine the malt extract and brown sugar with 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  3. Once cooled, add the remaining water and stir well.
  4. Pour the mixture into four separate bottles, each equipped with a carbonation drop.
  5. Seal the bottles and let them sit at room temperature for about a week to allow for carbonation.
  6. After a week, check the carbonation by opening one bottle. If it's fizzy, your homemade Vitamalz is ready to enjoy. If not, let it sit for a few more days and check again.
  7. Once carbonated, store the Vitamalz in the refrigerator. Serve chilled.
