Tofu Pudding
A smooth, creamy, and subtly sweet dessert made from silken tofu and sweet syrup.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Ginger - 1 inch, peeled and sliced
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- Silken tofu - 1 block
Let's Get Started
- Drain the tofu and place it in a serving bowl.
- In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, water, and ginger. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, until the syrup thickens slightly.
- Remove the ginger slices from the syrup and discard.
- Pour the warm syrup over the tofu.
- Allow the tofu pudding to cool before serving. It can also be refrigerated and served cold.
