Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole
This hearty breakfast casserole is packed with tater tots, eggs, sausage, and cheese for a delicious start to your day.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Cheddar cheese - 2 cups, shredded
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Eggs - 8
- Breakfast sausage - 1 lb
- Tater tots - 1 bag (32 oz)
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the tater tots out in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain the fat and spread the sausage over the tater tots.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, half of the cheese, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the sausage and tater tots.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
