- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Greek yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Tofu - 1 block, extra firm
Let's Get Started
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut it into cubes or desired shape.
- In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and toss gently to coat. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Thread the marinated tofu cubes onto skewers, or place them directly on the grill grates.
- Grill the tofu for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it is nicely charred and heated through.
- Remove the tofu from the grill and garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
