Tandoori Tofu

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut it into cubes or desired shape.
  2. In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and salt. Mix well to make the marinade.
  3. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and toss gently to coat. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Thread the marinated tofu cubes onto skewers, or place them directly on the grill grates.
  6. Grill the tofu for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it is nicely charred and heated through.
  7. Remove the tofu from the grill and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  8. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
