Sticky Rice Roll

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Soak the glutinous rice in water for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.
  2. Drain the rice and steam for about 15 minutes, or until the rice becomes translucent and sticky.
  3. While the rice is steaming, prepare the youtiao by cutting it into halves.
  4. When the rice is ready, spread it on a clean surface or a bamboo mat. Place the youtiao on top of the rice, then add the pickled mustard greens and pork floss.
  5. Roll the rice around the fillings, pressing firmly to ensure everything sticks together.
  6. Drizzle with soy sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
