Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and water to make a dough. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until softened.
  3. Add the Swiss chard to the pan and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Divide the dough into two equal parts. Roll out one part into a thin rectangle.
  5. Spread half of the Swiss chard mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. Roll out the second part of the dough into a thin rectangle and place it on top of the Swiss chard mixture.
  7. Press the edges of the dough together to seal the filling.
  8. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  9. Transfer the soparnik to a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing into squares or triangles.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!
