Skipperlabskovs
Skipperlabskovs is a traditional Danish dish made with ground beef, potatoes, onions, and spices.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Beef broth - 1 cup
- Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 large, finely chopped
- Potatoes - 4 large, peeled and diced
- Ground beef - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Add the diced potatoes, salt, pepper, and nutmeg to the skillet. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the beef broth and milk. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
