Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the tempeh cubes and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, maple syrup, and minced garlic. Pour this sauce over the tempeh and stir to coat.
  4. Continue cooking the tempeh until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Divide the cooked quinoa between four bowls.
  6. Top each bowl with the cooked tempeh, sliced bell pepper, julienned carrot, julienned cucumber, and chopped green onions.
  7. Sprinkle each bowl with sesame seeds before serving.
