Roast Chicken

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken inside and out, then pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Season the chicken inside and out with salt and pepper.
  4. Rub the outside of the chicken with the olive oil.
  5. Stuff the cavity of the chicken with the lemon, garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
  6. Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the juices run clear when you cut between a leg and thigh.
  7. Remove the chicken from the oven and let rest for 15 minutes before carving.
