Raspados are a refreshing Mexican shaved ice treat, topped with fruit syrups and other delicious toppings.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Lime wedges - 2
- Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Whipped cream - 2 tablespoons
- Condensed milk - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh fruit (e.g. strawberries, mango, pineapple) - 1 cup, diced
- Fruit syrup (e.g. strawberry, mango, pineapple) - 1/2 cup
- Ice - 4 cups
Let's Get Started
- Place the ice in a blender and blend until it reaches a snow-like consistency.
- Divide the shaved ice between two cups or bowls.
- Pour the fruit syrup over the shaved ice.
- Top with diced fresh fruit.
- Drizzle condensed milk over the top.
- Add a dollop of whipped cream.
