Pumpkin Ravioli
Delicious homemade ravioli filled with a savory pumpkin filling, perfect for a cozy fall dinner.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Sage leaves - 10
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Egg - 1, for egg wash
- Pasta dough - 1 batch
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Nutmeg - 1/2 teaspoon
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Pumpkin puree - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, Parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the pasta dough into thin sheets and cut out circles using a cookie cutter.
- Place a spoonful of the pumpkin mixture in the center of half of the circles.
- Brush the edges of the circles with the egg wash, then place the remaining circles on top, pressing the edges to seal.
- Boil the ravioli in salted water for 3-4 minutes, or until they float to the top.
- In a pan, melt the butter and add the sage leaves, cooking until the butter is browned.
- Drain the ravioli and add them to the pan, tossing to coat in the butter.
- Serve the ravioli with extra Parmesan cheese on top.
