Pudim de Leite
Pudim de Leite is a classic Brazilian dessert, similar to a flan, made with condensed milk, milk, and eggs.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Eggs - 3 large
- Milk - 1 can (use the condensed milk can for measurement)
- Condensed milk - 1 can
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt sugar until liquefied and golden in color. Carefully pour hot syrup into a 9 inch round glass baking dish, turning the dish to evenly coat the bottom and sides. Set aside.
- In a blender, combine condensed milk, milk, and eggs until smooth. Pour into the prepared dish.
- Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes. Let cool completely.
- To unmold, run a knife around edges and invert the dish onto a rimmed platter.
