Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
- Chicken broth - 1 cup
- Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Mushrooms - 1 cup, sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Pork chops - 4
Let's Get Started
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the pork chops and cook until browned on both sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and cook until browned. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
- Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir to combine. Cook for another minute.
- Slowly whisk in the chicken broth, making sure to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet and cook until they are cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
