Pichade is a traditional dish from Menton, in the French Riviera. It's a sort of pizza topped with onions, anchovies and olives.

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until they are soft and golden.
  4. Spread the cooked onions evenly over the pizza dough.
  5. Arrange the anchovies and olives on top of the onions.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the toppings are bubbly.
  8. Let the pichade cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
