Peanut Butter Protein Bars
These homemade peanut butter protein bars are healthy, vegan, gluten-free. Perfect for anyone on a health kick!
Ingredients - Serves 10
- Mini chocolate chips - 1/4 cup
- Almond milk - 1/2 cup
- Protein powder - 1/2 cup
- Old-fashioned oats - 2 cups
- Honey - 1/4 cup
- Natural peanut butter - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey. Microwave for 30 seconds, or until the peanut butter is melted.
- In a large bowl, combine the oats and protein powder.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture into the oat mixture and stir until well combined.
- Add the almond milk and stir until the mixture is evenly moistened.
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture into the dish.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top and gently press them into the mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Cut into bars and serve.
