Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, orange juice, lime juice, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper to make a marinade.
  3. Place the pork shoulder in a roasting pan and pour the marinade over it. Cover the pan with foil.
  4. Roast the pork in the preheated oven for about 4 hours, or until it is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  5. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Then, shred the pork using two forks.
  6. Slice the crusty bread rolls in half lengthwise.
  7. Spread mustard on one half of each roll and mayonnaise on the other half.
  8. Layer the shredded pork and pickles on the bottom half of each roll.
  9. Close the sandwiches and press them lightly.
  10. Serve the Pan con Lechon sandwiches warm and enjoy!
