Let's Get Started

  1. In a pot, bring the dashi broth to a boil.
  2. Add the soy sauce, mirin, and sugar to the broth. Stir well to combine.
  3. Add the fish cake slices to the broth and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the fish cake slices from the broth and set aside.
  5. Add the green onions and seaweed flakes to the broth. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Return the fish cake slices to the broth and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Drizzle sesame oil over the soup before serving.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
