Ingredients - Serves 4
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken breast - 1, sliced
- Shiitake mushrooms - 4, sliced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Ginger - 1 inch, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Mee sua (wheat flour noodles) - 200 grams
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, and sliced ginger to the pot.
- In a separate pan, heat the sesame oil and sauté the chicken breast until it's fully cooked.
- Add the cooked chicken and sliced shiitake mushrooms to the pot.
- Let the soup simmer for about 15 minutes.
- In the meantime, cook the mee sua noodles according to the package instructions.
- Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and divide them among four bowls.
- Ladle the soup into each bowl, making sure to include chicken and mushrooms.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
