Meatball Parmesan Sandwich

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
  7. Add the cooked meatballs to the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Slice the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise and place them on a baking sheet.
  9. Toast the rolls in the oven for 5 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  10. Remove the rolls from the oven and spoon the meatballs and marinara sauce onto the bottom halves of the rolls.
  11. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the meatballs.
  12. Place the baking sheet back in the oven and broil for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  13. Remove from the oven and place the top halves of the rolls on the sandwiches.
  14. Serve hot and enjoy!
