Mac and Cheese Balls
These crispy and cheesy mac and cheese balls are a delicious appetizer or snack.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - For frying
- Breadcrumbs - 1 cup
- Egg - 1, beaten
- All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Cheddar cheese - 1 cup, shredded
- Macaroni - 2 cups, cooked
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the cheese is melted and the ingredients are well combined.
- Take small portions of the mac and cheese mixture and shape them into balls.
- Place the breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Roll each mac and cheese ball in the breadcrumbs until coated.
