Little Necks on the Half Shell
This is a simple and delicious recipe for raw little neck clams served on the half shell with a tangy, spicy cocktail sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Crushed ice - 2 cups
- Hot sauce - To taste
- Cocktail sauce - 1 cup
- Lemon - 1, cut into wedges
- Little neck clams - 24, scrubbed clean
Let's Get Started
- Place the clams on a baking sheet and freeze for 15 minutes to make them easier to open.
- Using a clam knife, open the clams and discard the top shell. Loosen the clam from the bottom shell but leave it in place.
