Ingredients - Serves 6
- Cilantro - For garnish
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Spring onions - 2, finely chopped
- Turnip - 1, grated
- Carrot - 1, grated
- Prawns - 200g, peeled and deveined
- Pastry cups - 24
Let's Get Started
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the prawns and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through.
- Remove the prawns from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the grated carrot, turnip, and bean sprouts.
- Stir-fry for a few minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
- Add the soy sauce and fish sauce to the pan and stir to combine.
- Return the cooked prawns to the pan and mix well with the vegetables.
- Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
- Fill each pastry cup with the prawn and vegetable mixture.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and cilantro.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
