Let's Get Started

  1. In a saucepan, combine the fruit juice and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water until smooth.
  3. Slowly pour the cornstarch mixture into the boiling fruit juice, stirring constantly.
  4. Continue to cook and stir until the mixture thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Let the kisiel cool for a few minutes, then pour into serving bowls.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
