Jalapeño Blood Orange Sangria
A spicy and sweet sangria made with fresh blood oranges, jalapeños, and a blend of red wine and brandy.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Sparkling water - 1 cup
- Brandy - 1 cup
- Red wine - 1 bottle
- Jalapeño - 1, sliced
- Blood oranges - 6, juiced
Let's Get Started
- In a large pitcher, combine the blood orange juice, jalapeño slices, red wine, brandy, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible, to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Just before serving, add the sparkling water to the pitcher and stir to combine.
- Serve the sangria over ice, garnished with additional jalapeño slices and blood orange slices if desired.
