Hickory Smoked Chicken

- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Hickory wood chips - 2 cups
- Whole chicken - 1 (about 4 pounds)
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your smoker to 250°F and add the hickory wood chips.
- Rinse the chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
- Rub the chicken all over with the olive oil.
- In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this mixture all over the chicken.
