Green Bean and Shrimp Stir Fry
This delicious stir fry combines fresh green beans and succulent shrimp in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
- Green beans - 1 pound, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
Let's Get Started
- In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the green beans and stir fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return the shrimp to the pan with the green beans.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and green beans.
- Stir fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened and coats the shrimp and green beans.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions.
