Greek Lamb Burger
A delicious and juicy lamb burger seasoned with Greek spices and topped with tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Tzatziki sauce - 1/2 cup
- Hamburger buns - 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Feta cheese - 1/2 cup, crumbled
- Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground lamb - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, garlic, mint, feta cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute, or until lightly toasted.
- Spread a generous amount of tzatziki sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a lettuce leaf on each bun, followed by a lamb patty and a slice of tomato.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
