Ingredients - Serves 2

Let's Get Started

  1. Measure the desired amount of water using the coffee cup you will be using to serve the coffee. Each cup of water will require 1 tablespoon of coffee grounds.
  2. Pour the water into a small coffee pot called a briki.
  3. Add the coffee grounds and sugar (if desired) to the briki. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Place the briki on the stovetop over low heat. Allow the coffee to heat slowly, stirring occasionally.
  5. As the coffee heats, a foam will start to form on the surface. Once the foam reaches the top of the briki, remove it from the heat.
  6. Let the coffee sit for a minute to allow the grounds to settle.
  7. Pour the coffee into small cups, making sure to distribute the foam evenly.
  8. Serve the Greek coffee with a glass of water and enjoy!
