General Tso's Chicken Wraps

  1. In a shallow dish, coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the coated chicken to the skillet and cook until crispy and golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the garlic and ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
  8. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat it in the sauce.
  9. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  10. To assemble the wraps, place a tortilla on a flat surface and add a layer of shredded lettuce, julienned carrots, and sliced green onions.
  11. Top with a generous amount of the General Tso's chicken.
  12. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly.
  13. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
