General Tso's Chicken Stir Fry
This classic Chinese stir fry is made with chicken, vegetables, and a sweet and spicy sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Chili sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Hoisin sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
- Green bell pepper - 1, cut into 1-inch cubes
- Red bell pepper - 1, cut into 1-inch cubes
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken breasts - 2, cut into 1-inch cubes

- In a bowl, combine the chicken, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.

- Add the sauce to the skillet and cook until the sauce is thick and bubbly, about 5 minutes.
- Serve over cooked rice.
