Garlic and Zucchini Grilled Cheese
This delicious grilled cheese sandwich is made with garlic, zucchini, and melted cheese.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Cheddar cheese - 4 slices
- Bread - 4 slices
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Zucchini - 1 medium, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced zucchini and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the zucchini is tender and slightly browned, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove the zucchini and garlic from the skillet and set aside.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place 2 slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Top each slice with a slice of cheddar cheese, followed by the cooked zucchini and garlic.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side up.
- Cook the sandwiches over medium heat until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Slice the sandwiches in half and enjoy!
