Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into evenly sized sticks.
  2. Place the potato sticks in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Working in batches, carefully add the potatoes to the hot oil and fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fries from the oil using a slotted spoon or tongs and transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Sprinkle the fries with salt while they are still hot.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
