  2. Remove the milk from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  3. Add the filmjölk starter culture to the milk and stir well to combine.
  4. Cover the saucepan with a clean towel or plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 12-24 hours, or until it thickens and becomes slightly tangy.
  5. Once the filmjölk has reached the desired consistency, refrigerate it for at least 4 hours before serving.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy!
