Dacha Dandelion Coffee
A delicious and caffeine-free alternative to traditional coffee made from roasted dandelion roots.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Milk or non-dairy milk - Optional, to taste
- Honey or sweetener of choice - To taste
- Water - 4 cups
- Dandelion roots - 2 cups, dried and roasted
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the dried and roasted dandelion roots to the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the liquid into a separate container.
- Sweeten the dandelion coffee with honey or your preferred sweetener, to taste.
- If desired, add milk or non-dairy milk to the coffee for a creamier taste.
