Ingredients - Serves 1

Let's Get Started

  1. Find a fresh green coconut (younger coconuts are usually the best for this).
  2. Clean the outside of the coconut and find the three 'eyes' - these are the weak points of the coconut.
  3. Use a clean screwdriver and hammer to puncture a hole into two of the eyes.
  4. Turn the coconut upside down over a glass to drain the coconut water.
  5. Once the coconut is drained, you can either serve the coconut water as is, or strain it for any remaining bits of shell or pulp.
  6. Insert a straw and enjoy your fresh coconut water directly from the coconut.
