Classic Scones
These classic scones are perfect for breakfast or afternoon tea. They are buttery, flaky, and delicious.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Egg - 1 large
- Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, cold and cubed
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking powder - 1 tablespoon
- All-purpose flour - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
