Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a separate pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken or vegetable broth to the pot and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the fresh clams to the broth and cook until they open up, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any clams that do not open.
  5. Remove the clams from the broth and set aside. Strain the broth to remove any impurities.
  6. Return the strained broth to the pot and add soy sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Divide the cooked ramen noodles into serving bowls. Pour the hot broth over the noodles.
  8. Top each bowl with cooked clams, sliced green onions, shredded nori seaweed, and a soft-boiled egg.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
