Chocotorta
Chocotorta is a popular Argentine no-bake dessert made with chocolate cookies, dulce de leche, and cream.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
- Instant coffee - 1 tablespoon
- Milk - 1 cup
- Whipped cream - 500 ml
- Dulce de leche - 400 grams
- Chocolate cookies - 300 grams
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, mix the milk and instant coffee until dissolved.
- Dip each chocolate cookie into the coffee mixture and layer them in a rectangular dish to form the base.
- Spread a layer of dulce de leche over the cookies.
- Repeat the layers of soaked cookies and dulce de leche until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of dulce de leche on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Before serving, spread whipped cream over the top layer of dulce de leche.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder for decoration.
- Slice and serve chilled.
