Chili Mac and Cheese
A hearty and comforting dish that combines the best of chili and macaroni and cheese.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Cheddar cheese - 2 cups, shredded
- Macaroni - 2 cups, uncooked
- Tomato sauce - 1 can (15 ounces)
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, chopped
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain the fat.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and tomato sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the macaroni until al dente. Drain.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet and stir to combine.
