Chia and Flax Seed Crackers
These homemade crackers are packed with protein and fiber, thanks to chia seeds and flax seeds. They're perfect for snacking or serving with your favorite dips and spreads.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 1 cup
- Flax seeds - 1/2 cup
- Chia seeds - 1/2 cup
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the chia seeds, flax seeds, and salt.
- Add the water and olive oil, and stir until the mixture thickens.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, pressing it flat with the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then remove from the oven and cut into squares.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 30 minutes, or until the crackers are crispy and golden.
- Let cool completely before serving.
