Cheese Ramen
This cheesy ramen recipe is a delicious twist on the classic instant ramen noodles.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Egg - 1
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Milk - 1/4 cup
- Cheddar cheese - 1/2 cup, shredded
- Water - 4 cups
- Instant ramen noodles - 2 packs
Let's Get Started
- Cook the instant ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese and milk to the saucepan. Stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
- In a separate small saucepan, bring water to a boil and cook the egg for 6 minutes for a soft-boiled egg. Remove from heat, peel, and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked ramen noodles, cheese sauce, green onions, sesame oil, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat the noodles evenly.
- Divide the cheesy ramen into bowls and top each bowl with a soft-boiled egg.
