  1. Cook the instant ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and milk to the saucepan. Stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. In a separate small saucepan, bring water to a boil and cook the egg for 6 minutes for a soft-boiled egg. Remove from heat, peel, and set aside.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked ramen noodles, cheese sauce, green onions, sesame oil, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat the noodles evenly.
  6. Divide the cheesy ramen into bowls and top each bowl with a soft-boiled egg.
