Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots

Let's Get Started

  1. Place the carrots in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer until the carrots are tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, salt, and pepper and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add the carrots back to the pot and stir until they are coated in the glaze.
  4. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze is thickened.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
