Bok Choy and Broccoli Beef Stir Fry
This delicious stir fry combines tender beef, bok choy, and broccoli in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Broccoli florets - 2 cups
- Bok choy - 4 cups, chopped
- Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add beef slices and stir fry until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Stir fry for 1 minute.
- Add bok choy and broccoli florets. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the ingredients.
- Stir fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
