Beef Udon

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, marinate the beef slices with soy sauce, mirin, and sake. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the udon noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked udon noodles and baby bok choy to the pot. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the bok choy is tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the beef udon soup hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
