Aji Tama Ramen
Aji-Tama Ramen is a delicious and flavorful Japanese ramen dish topped with marinated soft-boiled eggs.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Nori (seaweed) - 2 sheets
- Aji-tama (marinated soft-boiled eggs) - 2
- Corn kernels - 1/2 cup
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Pork belly - 200g, thinly sliced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Mirin - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
Let's Get Started
- Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, heat the chicken broth over medium heat. Add the soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- In a separate pan, cook the pork belly slices until crispy. Set aside.
- Divide the cooked ramen noodles into two bowls. Pour the hot broth over the noodles.
- Top each bowl with cooked pork belly slices, chopped green onions, bean sprouts, corn kernels, aji-tama (marinated soft-boiled eggs), and nori (seaweed).
- Serve hot and enjoy!
