Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Soak the red kidney beans in water overnight.
  2. Drain the beans and place them in a large pot with 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  3. In a separate pan, sauté the onions and garlic until golden.
  4. Add the sautéed onions and garlic, chopped herbs, pomegranate juice, and sour plums to the pot with the beans.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, then simmer for another 30 minutes.
  6. Serve the soup hot, garnished with a few extra sour plums if desired.
