Stuffed Peppers

These delicious stuffed peppers are filled with a flavorful mixture of ground beef, rice, and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Shredded cheese - 1 cup
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 1 cup
  • Cooked rice - 1 cup
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1, finely chopped
  • Ground beef - 1 pound
  • Bell peppers - 6

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is softened.
  4. Add the cooked rice, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir until well combined.
  5. Fill each bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of each pepper.
  9. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
