Steak Tacos

These delicious steak tacos are made with marinated grilled steak, fresh toppings, and a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • Salsa - 1/4 cup
  • Sour cream - 1/4 cup
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Tomatoes - 2, diced
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Tortillas - 8
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 1/4 cup
  • Flank steak - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the excess marinade. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. Warm the tortillas on the grill or in a skillet.
  6. Slice the grilled steak into thin strips.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing a few slices of steak on each tortilla. Top with sliced avocado, diced tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, chopped cilantro, sour cream, and salsa.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
